What are you actually trying to fix?
Most local shops that look at TCGplayer Pro want three things: know what's in the case and what it cost, buy cards over the counter without guessing, and sell online without two people buying the same copy. Which tool fits depends on where your money comes from. If most of it is marketplace orders, the marketplace's own tools make sense. If most of it walks through the door, you want the counter to be the center.

How do most card shops handle this today?
A lot of shops run on a spreadsheet for cost, TCGplayer's seller portal for online sales, and a general register like Square or Shopify POS at the counter. It works until the spreadsheet and the portal disagree about what's in stock.
The card-specific systems each have a catch. BinderPOS hasn't taken a new store since February 2025 (details here). CrystalCommerce charges a $599 setup fee plus 2.5% of online sales (compared here). TCGplayer Pro is only open to Level 4 sellers who aren't synced through another platform.

Who is Foil Haven for?
A store where the counter is the business. Each high-value single is its own record with condition, cost and location, so you know which copy you paid $40 for. The kiosk, the buylist and the store-credit ledger are on every plan, including the free one. The bill is a flat $0, $79 or $149 a month, and 0% of your counter and website sales.
If you want your own storefront, the hosted website is a $10 a month add-on on any plan: live stock, reserve for pickup, pay at the counter (how it works).
When is TCGplayer Pro the better choice?
If marketplace orders are most of your revenue, stay close to the marketplace. Our TCGplayer connection is a CSV export and an orders import, not a live sync, and we have no eBay or Amazon channel. TCGplayer Pro also has image-recognition scanning for intake, which we don't have yet; you add cards by searching name or number. And we're a young, one-person company; TCGplayer has eBay behind it. If none of that is your bottleneck, a flat bill and a system built around the counter probably is.
Questions about TCGplayer Pro and Foil Haven
Do I have to be a Level 4 seller to use TCGplayer Pro?
Yes. TCGplayer's Pro page says Level 4 Marketplace sellers can sign up, and that Pro is only for sellers who aren't synced through a third-party eCommerce provider. Foil Haven has no seller-level requirement: any store can start on the free Counter plan.
How much does TCGplayer Pro cost?
TCGplayer's Pro page doesn't list a membership price; seller fees live in TCGplayer's help center. For reference, TCGplayer raised the Level 1–4 marketplace commission from 10.25% to 10.75% on February 10, 2026. Foil Haven is $0, $79 or $149 a month and takes 0% of your own counter and website sales.
Can I keep selling on TCGplayer if I run my store on Foil Haven?
Yes, in batches rather than live. Growth ($79) exports your stock as a TCGplayer staged-inventory CSV and imports your TCGplayer orders so sold copies come out of stock. Pro ($149) automates the upload to the seller portal. There is no always-on marketplace sync, so a card can sit listed in both places until the next run.
Can Foil Haven import my TCGplayer Pro inventory?
Yes. Upload TCGplayer's "Export From Live" CSV at Dashboard → Stock → Competitor import. Rows are matched on game, set, card name and number, and condition and printing carry over. Anything that doesn't match cleanly goes to a review list instead of being guessed. We built it from TCGplayer's documented export format and haven't run a real store's file through it yet, so send us yours and we'll check it with you.
Does Foil Haven take card payments at the register?
No. The Pro register records cash, store credit and gift cards. It doesn't charge cards, so card payments stay on the terminal you already use.
