THE DOOR IS CLOSED
BinderPOS paused new signups on February 19, 2025 — waitlist only, no reopen date announced, as of September 2026. Its old marketing site now redirects into TCGplayer's seller-tools page. Even a store that loves it can't put a second location on it.
THE SECOND-STORE PROBLEM
BinderPOS runs each location as its own separate Shopify + BinderPOS stack — and new stacks can't be created while signups are paused. Foil Haven's company layer is built for store groups: each store stays its own clean tenant, and a company login sees inventory, margin, and liabilities across all of them in one view.
THE SYNC PROBLEM
TCGplayer's own developer release notes document buylist prices rendering $0.00, Lightly Played inventory mislabeled Near Mint in Shopify, and price gaps on new-set launches. Every one is a sync failure mode. Foil Haven's day-to-day — intake, POS, kiosk, buylist, pricing — runs on one platform. Shopify is an optional outbound channel, not the spine.
WHO OWNS YOUR REGISTER
BinderPOS is owned by TCGplayer, which is owned by eBay — the same marketplace that charges the seller fee on every synced sale. Foil Haven is independent. We charge the subscription; your own channels are yours.
The switch
Keep selling on TCGplayer if it earns its keep: Growth and Pro include staged CSV export and orders import for the channel.
Straight answer, because you'll ask: BinderPOS's always-on TCGplayer marketplace sync is deeper than our CSV bridge — if marketplace volume is most of your revenue, that gap matters. It has an eBay channel; we don't. And it has years of track record, where we're young and proving ourselves store by store. What we'd tell a friend: if those three things aren't your bottleneck, the flat bill, the 0% commission, and a system that's actually open to you probably are.
