For stores on Storepass
A Storepass alternative with a register under $500 a month.
Storepass is serious software for serious card stores, and the ladder is steep: $99 a month plus 2% gets you Shopify's point of sale and one game. The Storepass register, three games and no percentage start at $499 a month. If you run one or two counters, you may be paying for a tier built for a chain.

Worked example: a store on Storepass Scaling selling $10,000 a month through connected products pays $299 a month ($99 plus $200 in commission), $3,588 a year, and still rings sales on Shopify POS with one game. The same store on Storepass Starter pays $499 a month, $5,988 a year, for the Storepass register and three games. On Foil Haven Pro it pays $149 a month, $1,788 a year, for the register and all 10 games. Card processing is extra on both. Storepass figures are from its pricing page as of October 29, 2026.
Why do stores look for a Storepass alternative?
Usually it's the gap between the first two rungs. The $99 plan is really Shopify POS with a card catalog attached, and 2% of connected sales grows every month you do well. The plan that gives you a card-shop register costs five times as much. A shop with one counter, a buylist and Friday Night Magic sits in the middle, too small for Starter and too card-specific for Scaling.
The usual alternatives each have a catch. BinderPOS sends new stores to a waitlist (details). CrystalCommerce charges a $599 setup fee and 2.5% of online sales (compared here). TCG Sync charges $1,000 up front and 2% of every card sale (compared here).
Where we fit
What does Foil Haven do differently?
Every valuable single is its own record with condition, cost and location, and its live market price sits next to what you paid. The kiosk, the buylist and the store-credit ledger are included on the free plan, where Storepass puts the kiosk on its $1,999 tier. Growth adds the repricer, gift cards, events and TCGplayer CSV export; Pro adds the register, per-game pricing rules and all 10 games for $149 a month.
The bill never has a percentage on it. A store doing $40,000 a month over the counter and online pays the same $149 as a store doing $4,000.
When should you stay on Storepass?
If you run several locations with shared inventory, Storepass Growth and Pro handle multi-location front and back, and that is what the higher tiers are for. If CardTrader matters to you, it has an integration in beta and we have none. It also has years in business and a support team. We're young, one person answers support, and our catalog covers about 170,000 cards across 10 games. Our case is narrower: one or two counters, a real buylist, and a flat bill with no percentage.
Questions about switching from Storepass
How much does Storepass cost?
Storepass's pricing page lists five plans: Scaling at $99 a month plus 2% of sales on connected products, Starter at $499 a month with no transaction fees, Growth at $999, Pro at $1,999 and Enterprise at $4,999 a month. Every plan comes with 30 days to cancel for a full refund (as of October 29, 2026).
What does the $99 Storepass plan include?
Scaling uses Shopify POS with basic store credit, one product line (one game) and two pricing rules, and charges 2% on sales of connected products. Storepass's own TCG point of sale, three product lines and variable store credit start on Starter at $499 a month.
How is Foil Haven priced?
Counter is free, Growth is $79 a month and Pro is $149 a month. There is no setup fee and Foil Haven takes 0% of your counter and website sales on every plan. The kiosk, the buylist and the store-credit ledger are on the free plan; the register, per-game pricing rules and all 10 games are on Pro.
Can I import my Storepass inventory into Foil Haven?
Not with a one-click importer yet. Storepass runs on a Shopify store, and Foil Haven's competitor import reads BinderPOS, CrystalCommerce, TCGplayer Pro, BigCommerce and Square files. Send your Shopify product export to support@foilhaven.com before you switch and we will tell you exactly which columns map and what would need review.
Does Foil Haven list on CardTrader or other marketplaces?
No. Foil Haven sells through your counter, your kiosk, an optional Shopify store, an optional hosted website ($10 or $29 per store a month), and TCGplayer by CSV export and orders import on Growth and Pro. Storepass's CardTrader integration is in beta on Starter and up; we have none.
Can I try Foil Haven before I leave Storepass?
Yes. Counter is free with no card required, and the live demo opens a sample store with no signup. Run it next to Storepass until you are sure.
